Virgin Mobile Canada gets the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900

The newly released Blackberry Bold Touch 9900 Smartphone by Research in Motion is headed to the consumers on the Canadian Market all courtesy of the wireless carrier, Virgin Mobile but not until summer. The BlackBerry Bold Touch comes in two different models including the Bold 9900 and the Bold 9930, one for HSPA+ networks and the other for CDMA/Ev-Do networks. The new Smartphone is expected to arrive in late summer but so far Virgin Mobile has been the only carrier to officially announce the Smartphone. There are words on the street that the smartphone will also be available from T-Mobile in the US but the company is yet to come forward and make an official statement. Although they made the official announcement, Virgin didn’t reveal any pricing detail for the touchscreen QWERTY smartphone or its exact date of arrival to the people of Canada.
As a reminder, Virgin Mobile users will enjoy its 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen with a 640×480 pixel resolution, its 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, NFC (Near field communication) support, its powerful 1.2GHz Snapdragon Processor, 768MB of RAM, 8GB of on-board storage plus WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, a digital compass and Blackberry Balance which separates personal content from business data on the users device.
