Verizon introduces the newest addition to its lineup of mobile phones to consumers, the Samsung SGH-U640 Convoy. It is a rugged push-to-talk Mobile Phone that offers 810F compliance for resistance against shock, dust, vibration, salt, fog, humidity, sunlight, and temperature extremes.

It comes in a Clamshell Form Factor and features a 2 megapixel camera and other features which includes Bluetooth 2.1, VZ Navigator support, EV-DO-based push-to-talk and a 1300mAh Battery. The Samsung U640 Convoy will be available on November 15 for $49.99 on contract after a $50 mail-in rebate.
