Verizon Wireless has announced the availability of the new HTC Imagio XV6975 Mobile Phone which can be brought from any Verizon Wireless outlet nationwide beginning 6 October for $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year contract.

The HTC Imagio features a 3.6-inch Touchscreen display with a 480×800 pixel resolution plus HTC’s TouchFLO 3D UI. There are other features which includes WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity, a 5 megapixel auto focus camera and supports Verizon’s V CAST Mobile TV, V CAST Video on Demand, V CAST Music with Rhapsody services.

The Imagio is basically the dual-mode version of the HTC Touch Diamond2. It is a a world phone supporting Quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900, 2100 HSPA, and CDMA/EV-DO Rev. A 800/1900 MHz.
