Samsung has announced entry-level mobile phone to its Guru Series which is headed for India. The Guru 1175 is a candy-bar type phone which gets a 1.52-inch display screen with a resolution of 128 x 128 inches, has only 1MB of storage but gets an advanced mobile tracker, flashlight with capacity of 38 hours on a single charge, SOS messages, Indian calendar, voice key notes, 40 polyphonic and MP3 ringtones, and an FM radio.

The Guru also gets a 1000 mAh battery which allows the user to listen the FM Radio for up to 23 hours on a single charge or up to 12 hours talktime. The Samsung Guru 1175 also offers games, such as Carrom, Sudoku, Cricket, and Super Jewel Quest. Although it only gets 1MB storage it has the capability to store up to 1000 phonebook entries.

The Samsung Guru 1175 offers an unique feature called Bike mode that allows the users to take only emergency calls while riding their motorcycles.
