The DSP Group has unveiled its new Android Based Home Phone which is set to change the way how consumers see home phones. The home phone runs the Android OS and features a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with a virtual keyboard.

It is powered by a an ARM based 240MHz processor and also has other notable specs which includes a universal remote control, WiFi Connectivity, function as a VoIP handset, device for home automation and monitoring, a storage manager which means you can store stuff on it and its capability to install android apps. Its like a cell phone for your home.

LG LU2300 Android Smartphone launched in Korea

LG LU2300 Android Smartphone
LG is preparing to take back their native South Korean market with the launch of its new LU2300 Android Smartphone. The LU2300 will be going up against the likes of Motorola’s MOTOROI, HTC and even Apple.

The handset is powered by a 1GHz SnapDragon Processor, a AMOLED touchscreen display and a 5 megapixel camera which has the capability to record 720p HD videos. It’ll also have support for Korea’s Mobile TV and is is set to be released in Q2 of this year.

T-Mobile USA is about to launch the new Nokia 5230 Nuron to its consumer. The device was first introduced by Nokia back in August will be available to middle America “in the coming weeks” on T-Mobile’s 3G network. It features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with a 640 x 360 pixel resolution which makes the recently released Nokia C5 looks like a toy, an onscreen keyboard, Ovi Store apps and free Ovi Maps with turn-by-turn navigation.

The Nuron comes sporting the 5th version of the S60 OS and with the improved Symbian ^3 touchscreen UI coming soon, there could be a upgrade for the handset. It should be available by March 17th for $70 on contract, or $180 without.

LG Prototype Windows Phone 7 Series
A prototype of LG’s Windows Phone 7 Series phone was recently being showed off over at engadget by Aaron Woodman, the director of consumer experiences for Microsoft’s mobile division.

The director didn’t disclose too much specs of the new Windows 7 Phone OS, however we know that the LG’s Windows 7 Phone Series comes with a slide-out QWERTY Keyboard, a 5 megapixel camera and six hardware buttons. There is no word if the Windows Phone 7 Series would support Mac OS, but he mentioned that they are currently discussing it at least.

Nokia C5 Symbian Smartphone

Nokia has recently launched a new Smartphone, the C5 which runs the Symbian OS. It is the first smartphone in a new range of mobiles from Nokia called the ‘C’ series. The C5 features a 2.2-inch display screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera and comes pre-loaded with Nokia’s free navigation application, Ovi Maps.

The Nokia C5 measures 12mm thick, and stands 46mm tall and is 112mm wide, it comes with a 2GB microSD card and has the capability to support up to 16GB. Nokia C5 include a phone book that allows you to see your friends and contacts Facebook status’s as well as send them messages direct from the phone book. The Nokia C5 will be available in Europe in the second quarter of 2010 for 135 Euros about $182.

LG Arena Max now available in Korea

The LG Arena Max which was first highlighted here at the beginning of February, is now available to the consumers in Korea. The Arena Max which is also know as the LG LU9400 was launched in Korea on the LG Telecom Network.

It is powered by a Snapdragon Processor at 1GHz and happens to be the first smartphone in South Korea running this CPU. If you get this phone be prepared to enjoy its 3.5-inch WVGA touchscreen display, a finger-touch mouse, a 5 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, GPS Navigation and WiFi Connectivity. The version which was released in South Korea also comes with an integrated T-DMB Mobile TV. There was no price announced but we will keep you updated.

General Mobile is planning to launch another Android Phone after the DSTL1 and the Cosmos. This is the company’s third android phone called the Touch Stone.

The new phone is powered by an ARM9-based PXA935 processor and features a large 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen, 5 Megapixel camera,and even optional integrated analog TV tuner. Expect to see it out soon from some major carriers.
