Indian company Olive Telecom rolls out its new FrvrOn V-G2300 which is short for “Forever On” which uses dual power source including a rechargeable 600mAh lithium-ion battery and a AAA dry-cell battery that can be bought from any convenient corner store.

The GSM-based FrvrOn is pretty basic getting a 1.5-inch display, FM tuner and speaker phone. Even though the features are pretty basic, look on the bright side you won’t have to travel with an additional battery as a AAA battery is available almost everywhere. It is priced at Indian Rs 1699 (US$38).

Today we came upon this leak of Gigabyte’s latest Android-Powered Smartphone. It is called the GSmart G1305 Codfish which features a 3.2-inch touchscreen and a 5 Megapixel camera with flash.

Nokia recently announced its new luxury editions of Nokia 8800 mobile phones. Included in this release is the Nokia Carbon Arte, Sapphire, Sirocco, Continental, Versace and others.

Both the Nokia 8800 Arte and the Sapphire Arte comes equipped with a high-end metal and glass composition, which is the classic, iconic style of the new line of 8800 phones. These handsets boast of a smooth slide mechanism with state-of-the-art ball bearings and a unique spring mechanism. The Nokia 8800 Continental can be snapped up for $245, the Carbon Arte and Sapphire cost $225 while Sirocco makes one fork out $290.

Yesterday we introduced the Energy 888D Cylindrical Mobile Phone and today we are introducing the Qiao Sheng A45 Square Mobile Phone all courtesy of our friends over at Shanzai.

This square looking Mobile Phone which reminds me of the Copy Nokia e81, it features a highly lacquered finish and a display that rotates through 180 degrees and doubles as a make-up mirror, thus targeting the fashion-conscious woman. There is a 2.2-inch mirror touch display, polished metal backing to the display and a 3 megapixel camera.

Here is an innovation, not sure of its name but what seems to be the very first live shots of a BlackBerry Slider Smartphone. The question being asked right now is, could this be the Storm3 or the Bold 3.

It is being rumored that the Blackberry Slider will run the Blackberry 6.0 OS but we are not certain of the legitimacy of these images just yet. From the images it is a notable fact that it has an optical touchpad, buttons are up-to-date and “built-in” to the touchscreen. Alcatel unveils its new OT-980 Android Phone at the MWC 2010 which resembles the Palm Pre very much. However it doesn’t run the WebOS like the Palm Pre, instead it runs Google’s Android 1.6 OS.

The Alcatel OT-980 comes in a slider form factor and is powered by a 600MHz processor along with 192MB of RAM. The Alcatel OT-980 features a QVGA resistive touchscreen, 2 Megapixel camera, GPS, and WiFi connectivity. There is a demo video after the break..

From far east in Shenzhen, China comes the Energy 888D Mobile Phone. This is a new, cylindrical cell phone features a 2-inch curved display and a pen-like clip at the back of the handset.

This strange looking phone has a pink finish which makes it an ideal handset for the female user. It doesn’t seem to carry much advanced features however if you are all about Fashion you may consider getting one.

The Fei Yang F052 is a clone of the BlackBerry Curve 8250, it closely resembles the BlackBerry 8520 and features a same big screen, full keyboard, piano paint plastic, and rubber trim design.

As most of the clone phones out of china it features a dual SIM cards support, Analog TV and stereo FM radio. Along with the full QWERTY keypad (undoubtedly one of its most valuable features) the F052 has three multimedia keys on the top of the chassis allowing easy access and manipulation of music, a 2.2-inch display screen, 1.3 megapixel camera, flashlight, WiFi, Blutooth, Java Support and a 2GB TF card included.
