The long awaited HTC HD2 is finally official, it is the first Windows phone with HTC Sense. The HTC HD2 sports a large 4.3-inch window-like full-touch display and a ultra-thin form factor that delivers more visible content in a sharper, brighter and richer way. The HTC HD 2 packs the power of Qualcomm’s new 1Ghz Snapdragon mobile processor which will enhance performance and improve the speed in which the handset execute applications, games and videos.

The HTC HD 2 also has the first capacitive touch display on a Windows phone to make viewing, zooming and resizing websites, Microsoft Office files, PDF documents and pictures easier with just a pinch of your fingers. Other features includes a 5 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi connectivity, a proximity sensor, a light sensor, 3G broadband connectivity and a new Windows-based version of its Twitter application.

The HTC HD2 will be available later this month with selected operators across Europe, before rolling out to other regions in the coming months.
