The HTC Trophy was first announced back in December last year and was expected to surface in 2010 with the Windows Mobile 6.5 OS, unfortunately that did not happen, now we’re hearing that the Trophy may have been remade and renamed and will be running the Windows Phone 7 OS. The photo you see above is a mockup and not the real device, we strong believe that the device will feature quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity and dual-band UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA (900/2100 MHz) and the name clearly states it will be running the new Windows Mobile OS.

AT&T has an upcoming handset by the name of the HTC F8181 which is also known as the HTC Smart2 Smartphone. The Smart2 will be the second Brew-based phone from HTC, there is not much information on this device however it is expected to have Wi-Fi, Office Suite and HTC Sense.

It will probably have a QVGA display and could be available to AT&T customers by the end of 2010. In India, the Smart2 cost approximately $215 (free of contract), so it is assumed that its US price maybe way higher.

It has a rounded design and a vertical sliding QWERTY keyboard, there is a 2.8-inch 240×320 touchscreen, a 3.2-Megapixel camera, 3.5mm audio jack, micro USB port and there is a touch-pad on the back. The handset is powered by Qualcomm’s MSM7X25 Processor and runs the Android 2.1 OS with the MOTOBLUR UI.
