Vertu, a subsidiary of Nokia, is getting ready to launch its new luxury phone called Vertu Ascent X. The Ascent X was recently approved by the FCC and we found two photos of it, as well as some of its specs. It features a 2-inch QVGA display, A-GPS Function, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash which is a first for a Vertu handset.
The Vertu Ascent X has quad-band GSM (850/ 900/ 1800/ 1900 MHz) and quad-band UMTS/HSUPA (800 / 850 / 1900 / 2100 MHz) connectivity, so it can be used almost anywhere in the world. There is also email and Bluetooth, there has been no details on when it will be released.
