Sony Ericsson Satio finally hits the United States

After months and months of waiting, the Sony Ericsson Satio Smartphone which is also known as the Idou can now be purchased at Sony Style stores in the United States. The Satio is presently listed for a price of $650 and comes unlocked so you can use it on any network you feel to.

The main highlight of the Satio Smartphone is its camera which boast a whopping 12 megapixels with Xenon flash, image stabilizer, face detection, smile detection and touch focus.. The phone runs S60 5th edition Symbian OS and comes with WebKit browser pre-installed. The phone was released in 2009, unfortunately has just reach the US. The Satio supports UMTS HSDPA and quad-band GSM networks.

Sony Ericsson Spiro Walkman Mobile Phone
Along with the Zylo, Sony Ericsson also unveiled the Spiro another of Sony Ericsson’s Walkman Phone. It could be considered as a entry-level Walkman phone according to the specs, it features a 2.2-inch display and a 2 Megapixel camera. The phone has a 3.5mm audio jack but doesn’t support FLAC format like the Zylo.

The Spiro supports GSM/EDGE 900/1800 or GSM/EDGE 850/1900 networks and has other specs such as Bluetooth, FM tuner as well as a microSD/SDHC card slot for expansion. Starting in the third quarter of this year it will be available in the colors of Contrast Black, Sunset Pink, Spring Green, and Stealth Black.

Sony Ericsson announces its new Zylo with Walkman music phone that comes pre-loaded with sounds that allows users to pretend they are still at work, walking on the street or in a restaurant. The Zylo is a slider phone which comes with the Walkman music player and supports media formats including MP3, AAC, WMA, FLAC files, TrackID and PlayNow store, but it lacks 3.5mm audio jack.

The device sports a 2.6-inch LCd display with a 240×320 pixel resolution, a 3.2 megapixel camera with geotagging, FM tuner, Google Maps and a microSD card slot. The Sony Ericsson Zylo supports UMTS/HSDPA 3.5G and quad-band networks. It will be released in Q3 2010 in Jazz Black, Chacha Silver and Swing Pink colors.

Sony Ericsson unveils at the MWC 2010 the Vivaz pro Symbian smartphone. It is an upgraded version of the original Sony Ericsson Vivaz, the pro version Vivaz gets a slide-out QWERTY keyboard for faster typing.

The pro version comes with a 5.1 megapixel camera which features auto focus, flash and ability to record 720p HD video. This version runs Symbian S60 5th edition OS with facebook app, Webkit browser, QuickOffice and powered by a 720MHz processor. When it comes to storing media it supports microSD up to 16GB.

The Sony Ericsson Vivaz pro supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and WCDMA/HSPA 3G networks. It will be available in Q2 2010 in Black and White colors.
