Yesterday Sony Ericsson announced its new A8i OPhone Smartphone for China’s Market. Its the first smartphone to support China Mobile’s TD-SCDMA network, it also runs China Mobile’s Open Mobile System 2.0 (based on Android). The phone features a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with 854 x 480 pixels, 5-Megapixel Camcorder with LED Flash, CNMB mobile TV, WLAN, A-GPS, eCompass, TrackID, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headset jack, 200MB internal memory and support for microSD cards.

The Sony Ericsson A8i will be available for purchase starting the fourth quarter of the year, in black and white. There were no pricing information announced…

AT&T has confirmed the availability of the Sony Ericsson Vivaz Smartphone to its product line-up. The handset is powered by a Symbian OS and features a 360 x 640 pixels touchscreen display, an 8.1-Megapixel Camera with Autofocus and HD video recording, there is GPS Navigation, HSPA and WiFi Connectivity all for the price of $79.99 with a 2-year contract agreement after a $50 rebate. The AT&T Sony Ericsson Vivaz will be released on September 5th, 2010 and comes in the colors of Venus Ruby and Galaxy Blue.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is now available with AT&T, the Xperia X10 will be offered for a price of $149.99 with a two-year agreement without any mail in rebates. For a handset announced so long ago, isn’t kinda late for AT&T to be offering now at such a high price. The Xperia X10 was announced with Android 1.6 and now we are in the era of the Froyo 2.2, so who really want to go back there. The only exciting feature I see, is its 8.1-Megapixel camera with 16x zoom and its 4-inch Touchscreen display but only appealing to who wants to watch Movies and Music Videos.

The new Sony Ericsson Smartphone that goes by the name Vivaz and destined to be with AT&T subscribers. Although it is not officially available as yet, the Vivaz has managed to get its own Site by Sony Ericsson. There hasn’t been much details announced for the Smartphone except for the promo animations and videos presently available. The AT&T Version of the Sony Ericsson Vivaz expected to come with some AT&T based features including AT&T Navigator, AT&T Maps and AT&T FamilyMap.

Sony Ericsson announced its new full touch Walkman Phone which is known as the Yendo. This new Mobile Phone combines Social Networking, communication and Music into one device. The Sony Ericsson Yendo gets a 2.6-inch touchscreen display with a 320×240 resolution, a 2 Megapixel Camera, Bluetooth connectivity plus Facebook and Twitter Applications integrated.

The Yendo comes with a Touch Walkman player, Touch TrackID and PlayNow functions and has the four-corner touch UI found on the Xperia X10. The Sony Ericsson Yendo supports GSM/EDGE 850/1900 and 900/1800 networks and is expected to be released by the end of Q3 in the colors of Black, Blue, Green, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, Silver, White and Yellow colors. Sony Ericsson has announced its new Cedar entry-level 3G phone that is the newest member of the company’s GreenHeart Series. The Cedar is made from recycled plastics and ships in an environmentally friendly compact packaging, with an e-manual and a low power consumption charger. Specs wise it gets a 2.2-inch display, a 2 Megapixel camera with VGA video recording, FM Radio, Bluetooth and integration to social networking sites such as twitter, myspace, Facebook and Youtube.

The Cedar is expected to be launched during Q3 2010 and will come in the colors of Black/Silver and Black/Red colors.

Sony Ericsson has officially released some photos of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 Shakira. Pictures seem to be the only thing on Sony Ericsson’s Agenda right now, as they did not announce any detail of the upcoming Smartphone.

Only thing I can so now is assume of the specs the Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 Shakira, and you know what they say the word assume means (ASS out of U and ME) , there is word that the handset should be available this fall, no pricing details were announced. See the other photos after the jump.

Sony Ericsson in association with KDDI presents the first mobile phone to carry the Sony Cyber-shot name, it is namely the Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot S003 Mobile Phone which comes with a 12.1-Megapixel Auto focus camera with PLASMA Flash that offers Face detection, Smile Shutter, ISO up to 3200, Image Stabilization and a face texture option which will detect up to four people. The handset is also waterproof with IPX5/IPX7 grade protection, apart from its awesome 12 Megapixel Photos, it comes in a slider form factor and has a 3.2-inch TFT Transmissive LCD display with a 480×854 pixel resolution, 340MB internal storage and support for microSDHC cards up to 16GB.

There are other specifications that may come in handy which includes a a built-in dictionary, Bluetooth, WiFi, Earthquake Early Warning features and it comes in the colors of Pink flash, white crystal, blue laser and Metarikkuchakoru.
