Sony Ericsson Vivaz pro QWERTY Symbian Phone
Sony Ericsson unveils at the MWC 2010 the Vivaz pro Symbian smartphone. It is an upgraded version of the original Sony Ericsson Vivaz, the pro version Vivaz gets a slide-out QWERTY keyboard for faster typing.

The pro version comes with a 5.1 megapixel camera which features auto focus, flash and ability to record 720p HD video. This version runs Symbian S60 5th edition OS with facebook app, Webkit browser, QuickOffice and powered by a 720MHz processor. When it comes to storing media it supports microSD up to 16GB.

The Sony Ericsson Vivaz pro supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and WCDMA/HSPA 3G networks. It will be available in Q2 2010 in Black and White colors.

The new Sony Ericsson Vivaz is the second installment in Sony Ericsson’s new lineup of communications entertainment smartphones, a mash-up of its well-known Walkman, Cybershot and messaging concepts. Like its Android sibling, the Xperia X10, the Sony Ericsson Vivaz Symbian smartphone offers a new “human curvature” design philosophy. Sony Ericsson says this will be the way to instantly recognize this type of smartphone in the future, and if you’re looking for an all-in-one smartphone solution tailored to consumers, the Vivaz will be a smartphone to keep an eye on in the months ahead.

Expect to see this new smartphone on the market in Q1 2010, two versions will be available, one for AT&T’s 3G network and one supporting European and Asian 3G networks.

Sony Ericsson Robyn aka Xperia X10 Mini highlighted again

Today we have found another image of the Sony Ericsson Robyn which is also known as the Mini Version of the Xperia X10. The mini X10 gets a smaller touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel camera, WiFi and HSDPA support.

It will probably be available in four color variants, black, silver, pink and yellow. It is expected to be launched in early 2010

Some snapshots of the unannounced Sony Ericsson Faith Windows Mobile phone has surfaced. The new Windows Mobile Smartphone runs the Windows Mobile 6.5 OS in a bar-type form factor. There is a full QWERTY keyboard along with a 2.4-inch touchscreen display plus support for WiFi, HSDPA and quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity.

Photos of the Sony Ericsson Robyn a.k.a XPERIA X10 Mini was recently surfaced. The new leaked images add the iPhone to the cast and now you can see how really small the Robyn is. We got no official word of the XPERIA X10 Mini but we are following its steps.

We hope to see the Robyn at the Sony Ericsson booth on the MWC 2010 in February and learn the company future plans about it.

Sony Ericsson Kanna U8i QWERTY Slider Phone

Sony Ericsson KannaThe upcoming Sony Ericsson Kanna U8i QWERTY slider will be officially announced in February 2010. A tipster sent us a photo of a Sony Ericsson phone we haven’t seen before. It looks like a Sony Ericsson Kurara, it quacks like a Kurara, but has a QWERTY keyboard. Yep, this just might be a new entry into Sony Ericsson’s U series.

The phone features a 3.2-inch Touchscreen display with a 360 x 640 pixel resolution, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, there is also touch focus, geo-tagging, face and smile detection. It is powered by a 725 MHz processor and has pre-loaded apps to social networking applications such as Twitter, Facebook and Youtube.

Along with the Hazel GreenHeart Mobile Phone, Sony Ericsson also announced the Elm GreenHeart which is the second phone in the Sony Ericsson GreenHeart Series. The Sony Ericsson Elm features a 2.2-inch LCD display with a 240 x 320 resolution and an accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate.

The Elm comes with a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, support for 2G (GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900) and 3G enabled (HSDPA 2100 HSDPA 900 / 2100) networks,WiFi 802.11 b/g and Bluetooth connectivity, A-GPS support with Google Maps, Noise cancellation with dedicated microphone, Stereo FM radio with RDS, 280MB of internal memory and support for microSD cards up to 8GB. The phone also comes with integrated shortcuts to social networking sites like YouTube, Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter. The Sony Ericsson Elm will be available in the colors of Metal Black, and Pearly Rose.

Sony Ericsson recently unveiled its Hazel GreenHeart Mobile Phone, it is one of the new handsets that will make up the GreenHeart Series. The Hazel GreenHeart features a 2.6-inch LCD display with 240 x 320 pixels and an accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate. There is a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and features which includes Geo-tagging, face, smile detection, video calling, secondary camera, and video light.

Other specs includes Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, WiFi 802.11 b/g, 280 MB of Internal Memory and a microSD card slot that can support up to 16GB cards. See the full specs after the break…
