MetroPCS has announced the availability of Samsung’s new touchscreen smartphone, the Samsung Calibur R860 at its retail locations. The Samsung Calibur R860 comes equipped with a 3.2-inch WQVGA touchscreen display backed by Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, a 3 megapixel camera with LED flash, support for MicroSD cards up to 16GB, a full HTML web browser, GPS with MetroNavigator, email, social networking integration (Facebook, MySpace) and Bluetooth connectivity.

The 3.0 megapixel camera and camcorder is perfect for capturing images, while the stereo Bluetooth wireless technology and a speakerphone make hands-free communication effortless. The Samsung Calibur is now available at MetroPCS for $250 with no contract.

In addition to the touchscreen Monte S5620, Samsung also introduced the Monte Slider and Monte Bar Mobile Phones. The Monte Slider which model name is the Monte Slider E2550 features a 2-inch display, 1.3 Megapixel camera with video recording and nightshot mode in a slider form factor.

Then there is the Monte Bar C3200 mobile phone which features a 2-inch display and a 2 Megapixel camera. Both devices support Bluetooth,FM radio and microSD memory card. They include the DNSe (Digital Natural Sound Engine) and supports music and video playback. The Monte Bar stands out as it has the capability to use dual SIM cards, Samsung Monte Slider supports dual-band GSM/EDGE and the Monte Bar works on quad-band GSM/EDGE networks. Samsung has finally confirmed its new I8520 Android Projector Phone. The Samsung I8520 is the company’s first Android projector phone. The gadget comes jam packed with a 3.7-inch Super AMOLED screen, an 8-megapixel camera, and a “Specialized Projector UI”.

Today we have found a hands-on video from youtube on the Samsung Wave S8500 Mobile Phone. This is one of Samsung’s latest handsets and it comes boasting a 3.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen display and Samsung’s own Bada OS which is also backed by a TouchWiz 3.0 interface.

The Samsung Wave S8500 also uses a 1GHz CPU, which is probably Snapdragon processor and other specs which includes HSDPA and Wi-Fi b/g/n connectivity, a 3.5mm headset jack, DivX player, a 5MP Auto Focus camera with flash and 720p video recording, a 2GB of internal memory, and a MicroSD card slot. Samsung unveils its new Monte S5620 Smartphone. It is a new touchscreen smartphone that features a 3.0-inch WQVGA LCD display which is powered by Samsung’s TouchWiz 2.0 Plus User Interface. It also boasts a 3.2-megapixel camera with features including smile shot, panorama shot and face detection.

Specs also included are its social network capabilities which includes advanced Twitter and Bebo widgets, HSDPA connectivity, full Internet browsing, Wi-Fi, GPS, Google Latitude, Exchange ActiveSync and Google Sync. The Monte also has an intelligent User Interface, design and connectivity options to provide users with the performance they demand.

Samsung announces a new Touchscreen Handset which is powered by the Android 2.1 OS. The Samsung SHW-M100S is the company’s first Android smartphone for South Korea. The M100S is powered by a 800MHz processor and runs the Android 2.1 OS. It gets a 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5 Megapixel camera, GPS and WiFi 802.11n connectivity.

The handset also comes with an integrated T-DMB tuner and supports DivX video playback. The phone will be available in Korea in March on SK Telecom. This is probably the second phone for the Korean company, after Motorola’s MOTOROI.

Samsung has a new android-powered smartphone coming which was hinted by this recently leaked shot. The new smartphone is the Samsung Galaxy 2 Smartphone which should be the successor to the Samsung i7500, it runs the Android 2.1 OS and is powered by an SnapDragon 1GHz processor, 32GB internal memory plus a microSD card slot for expansion on storage.

There is a 5 megapixel camera which offers quality photos, GPS Navigational functions, WiFi connectivity, a 3.mm jack and to top it off there is a 3.7-inch MOLED touchscreen display.
