Nokia C6-01 Mobile Phone with a 8-Megapixel Camera


A new Nokia Handset just appeared, it is the Nokia C6-01 Mobile Phone which looks just a little different from the Nokia C6-00 Mobile Phone. The two handset share basically the same specifications except that the Nokia C6-01 gets an 8-Megapixel Camera with dual LED flash instead of a 5-Megapixel that the Nokia C6-00 has.

The back cover of the Nokia C6-01 also gets a new design. The new Nokia Handset appeared over at Nokia Netherlands’ official website, although it wasn’t announced in a press release or anything like that.

Nokia C5 Released In India


Nokia announced its new C5 Mobile Phone in India for a low price of Rs 8,200 which is approximately $175 in the United States. Apparently the Nokia C5 will only be available from at Nokia Priority dealers and will be available across normal retail outlets later this week. As a reminder the Nokia C5 Mobile Phone features a 2.2-inch QVGA display, a 3.2-Megapixel Camera, GPS Navigation and a 50MB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 16GB via a microSD card slot.

The Handset is also 3G-enabled plus along with its GPS capabilities there is also free Ovi Maps with navigation.

Nokia E5 Messaging Phone rumored for Australia, North America, and South America


There is word out that the new Nokia E5 Messaging Smartphone is heading to carriers in Australia, North America, and South America. The unlocked version of the Nokia E5 is expected to retail at €180 which is approximately $220 in the United States. Just as a reminder, the Nokia E5 is powered by Symbian OS and has a full QWERTY keyboard, WiFi Connectivity, HSDPA/HSUPA, A-GPS, Ovi Maps with free navigation, a 5 Megapixel Camera with LED Flash, a 250MB of internal memory and a 2GB card in the box.

Nokia X5 Slider Social Networking Smartphone

Nokia has rolled out two new smartphones in Singapore, the new Nokia X5-01 model and the Nokia X6 8GB. The Nokia X5 is a square slider that comes with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard that supports easy access to major social networking sites Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and Hi5, it also supports all major IM and webmail services.

The handset features a 2.36-inch display of QVGA resolution, there is a 5 Megapixel camera with 4X digital zoom and an LED flash, it has WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1, it comes with 200 Internal Memory and a microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB, there is also a 2GB that comes in the box. The new Nokia X5-01 runs Symbian S60 and has a battery life offers up to 16-days standby time or 24 hours music playback from a full charge. The Nokia X5 will be available in Azure Blue, Pink, Yellow and Purple during Q3 with estimated retail price of EUR 165.

Nokia C1-00, C1-01, C1-02 and C2-00 Entry-Level Mobile Phones


Along with its recent launch of the Nokia Bicycle Charger Kit, the company also rolled out four new entry-level mobile phones which includes the C1-00, C1-01, C1-02 and C2-00. Two of the four handsets are capable of using dual SIM which are the C1-00 and C2-00, The former lets users switch between two SIMs with a press of button and the C2-00 can keep both SIM cards active and standby.

T-Mobile Nokia E73 Mode for $69.99 Starting June 16th


In addition to the LG Trio (3 new phones) coming to T-Mobile, the company will also be getting the Nokia E73 Mode Smartphone. The Nokia E73 Mode is targeted at Business Users and will cost $69.99 with a 2-year contract agreement.

Yahoo could collaborate with Nokia this May 24th

Yahoo Nokia
Yahoo recently sent out invitations for an event which is to be held on Monday May 24th in New York. The event will be covering topics such as providing global consumers with rich online and mobile experiences which should bring forward a new way to keep consumers connected. There is word that they maybe be unveiling a deal with Nokia, reportedly called “Project Nike” which will see future Nokia devices getting Yahoo Search, email and other services that is offered by Yahoo.

T-Mobile USA will be launching a portrait QWERTY handset from Nokia on June 16th which is known as the E73 Mode. It is known that T-Mobile has a tendency to give Nokia Phones its own name, like the E72 Nuron, the E73 gets its own name, Mode, specially for the US Market.

Some features expected to come with the E73 Mode Smartphone are 3G and WiFi connectivity.
