In addition to the Defy Rugged Android Phone, Motorola will be releasing a Special Edition Clamshell Phone also, it is the Motorola i897 Ferrari Special Edition which is a Ferrari Official Licensed Product. The handset will feature Ferrari digital content such as branded skins and themes, wallpapers, video, ring tones and the Ferrari GT: Evolution game by Gameloft.

The handset will feature a 2.2-inch LCD display with a 320 x 240 resolution, a external 1.8-inch LCD display with a 128 x 160 resolution, a 2-megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, dedicated music and video buttons, Bluetooth, Micro USB and a microSD memory card slot with a 2GB card in the box. The handset will be available in red and yellow, it is already available at Nextel Mexico and Brazil and will be available in red at Nextel Argentina in October.

Motorola is getting ready to release its new Defy Rugged Android Smartphone to the subscriber of Europe, the rugged Android-Powered Smartphone is waterproof, dustproof and scratch resistant meeting the IP67 standard. The Defy is powered by a 800MHz OMAP 3610 Processor backed by 512MB of RAM and Android 2.1 with MOTOBLUR UI.

The Rugged Smartie comes with a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that is made from Corning Gorilla Glass, there is a 5-Megapixel Camera with LED Flash, aGPS and GPS functions, Bluetooth Connectivity, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, DLNA support, CrystalTalk PLUS dual-mic noise reduction and has 2GB of Internal Storage. Today we have came upon some wonderful snapshots and videos of the upcoming Motorola XT300 Android slider with QWERTY keyboard. We can all say thanks to Chinese Android forum HiAPK.com for these photos and videos. The upcoming XT300 has a design that gives us flashbacks of Palms two previous phones, the Palm Pre and Palm Pre Plus. It has a rounded design and a vertical sliding QWERTY keyboard, there is a 2.8-inch 240×320 touchscreen, a 3.2-Megapixel camera, 3.5mm audio jack, micro USB port and there is a touch-pad on the back. The handset is powered by Qualcomm’s MSM7X25 Processor and runs the Android 2.1 OS with the MOTOBLUR UI.

The Motorola Milestone 2 is finally here
Motorola has finally made its Milestone 2 Smartphone official. The new Android Smartphone is basically the international version of the Droid 2 which is headed to Verizon Wireless. The Milestone 2 is powered by 1GHz OMAP processor along with the new Android Froyo 2.2 with MOTOBLUR UI and 512MB of RAM. Like the Motorola Milestone, the Milestone 2 supports GSM/WCDMA 3G networks, it has an integrated WiFi hotspot function and a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display.

Other notable specs are its sliding QWERTY keyboard, its 5-Megapixel Camera with dual LED flash and 720p HD video recording as well, there is Bluetooth connectivity, WiFi, DLNA Support, GPS Navigation, 8GB of internal storage and support for microSD/SDHC memory cards. The Motorola Milestone 2 will be available in Europe beginning Q4 2010.

Motorola has officially launched three new Android-Based Ming Phones that has been reported here over the pass few months. They are the Motorola Ming A1680 which is also known as the Moto Lucky 3G that comes with a 3.1-inch AMOLED Touchscreen display that produces crystal clear picture, excellent touch capabilities, there is a 5-Megapixel Camera, WiFi, GPS and a sixth-generation SoftStylus handwriting system. Then there is the Motorola Ming MT810 that is also known as the Moto Beihai that will debut on the China Mobile Network and runs China Mobile’s OPhone OS 2.0 (a custom version of the Android OS). The Motorola MT810 comes equipped with a 3.2-inch resistive touchscreen display, a digital camera that has the capability to record 720 x 480 resolution, 720p high definition playback and China’s CMMB mobile television format.

More details and Photos has surfaced on Motorola’s First Android Phone in its Ming Series of Handsets. The Motorola Ming A1680 was detailed at Motorola’s MOTODEV developer website. Now we are sure that the Ming A1680 will feature a 3.1-inch AMOLED Touchscreen LCD Display designed for handwriting with a 480×800 resolution, it has a 5-Megapixel Camera with Autofocus and Video Recording, it has built-in GPS with internal antenna and e-compass, Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi Connectivity. The Ming A1680 will be powered by an Marvell PXA935 624MHz processor, 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM.

The Ming A1680 supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and WCDMA 2100 networks unlike the Ming XT806 that will be in China on the China Telecom CDMA Network. The Ming A1680 also has a microSD card slot that supports card up to 32GB.

Even though Telus got it first, T-Mobile America will start offering the Motorola Charm to its subscribers starting on August 25th for a way low price than what Telus is offering it to their Canadian Subsctibers. For only $74.99 with 2-year contract T-Mobile Subscriber will be able to grab the Motorola Charm.

The announcement was done via Facebook on Motorola’s Official Page. The post as follows: “On August 25th, the Motorola CHARM hits T-Mobile’s shelves! With a two year service agreement and qualifying voice & data plan, the CHARM is only $74.99″.

Yesterday Telus Canada started offering the Motorola Charm to its subscribers. The Android 2.1 Smartphone was first leaked to be coming to T-Mobile USA, hinted by the leak of some training material a few weeks back. The Charm comes running Android 2.1 with MOTOBLUR, there is a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display, a Full Qwerty Keyboard and a touch-sensitive “BACKTRACK navigation pad that can be found on the back of the handset.

The handset also comes with 7 homescreens that can be personalized, there are resizable widgets, HSPA, WiFi Connectivity, GPS Navigation, CrystalTalk PLUS technology for quality calls and enhanced audio, a 3-Megapixel Camera and a 2GB memory ships in the box. If you wish to purchase a Motorola Charm from Telus it will cost you $29.99 with a 3yr contract, $149.99 with a 2 yr contract or $199.99 for a 1yr agreement. $249.99 to say go to hell with your contract.
