We have been expecting this every since the Backflip was announced. So there was no surprize when we came upon the ME600, the splitting image of the Motorola Backflip.

Like Motorola’s original version, the ME600 clone has the same backflip form factor, touchscreen, and QWERTY keyboard. Of course, you can’t expect Android OS, it gets the MTK UI instead. The ME600 is manufactured in China and while the BackFlip is now going for a mere $99 with a two-year contract, the BackFlip Clone costs 600 Chinese Yuan which is approximately $88 in the United States

Motorola recently announced its QUENCH Android-Powered Smartphone with MotoBlur which is also known as the Motorola CLIQ XT. The Quench comes boasting a high-resolution 3.1-inch touchscreen display along with specs such as dual microphones and noise cancellation technology for clear calls, a 5.0 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, Adobe Flash Lite as well as great navigational features such as pinch and zoom and a touch pad.

The QUENCH will be called the CLIQ XT and be available next month exclusively through T-Mobile USA. There are also integrated links to social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and Gmail. There is voice-activated search, stereo Bluetooth, aGPS, 3G and WiFi connectivity. QUENCH with MOTOBLUR will be available in multiple regions around the globe beginning in Q1 2010. In the U.S., the device will be called CLIQ XT with MOTOBLUR and will be available exclusively through T-Mobile USA beginning next month.

AT&T to get Motorola BackFlip in March

AT&T to get Motorola BackFlip
Motorola has officially announced that its new BackFlip will be heading to AT&T on March 7th. As one of the Motorola’s Android phone, the Backlip includes the MOTOBLUR platform that helps consumers keep a pulse on what’s happening on their social and news networks.

The handset will be sold for $99.99 with a 2-year contract agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate. As a reminder, the BackFlip offers a 3.1-inch HVGA touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, a full QWERTY keyboard, MotoBlur with social networking integration (Facebook, MySpace, Twitter), GPS, WiFi, a 3.5mm headset jack, a 1,500 mAh battery, Android 1.5 OS and supports HSDPA connectivity.

Motorola MOTOSPLIT Android Phone

Motorola MOTOSPLIT Android Phone
According to AndroidCommunity, Motorola is planning another Android device called the MOTOSPLIT that gets a dual-sliding QWERTY keyboard with dynamic key labels, like Samsung’s Alias 2, meaning the keyboard can offer users any layout and keys.

The MOTOSPLIT, as the source said, will use the same processor as the BackFlip and the specs will nearly the same as the BackFlip.

Motorola Zeppelin Android Phone Spotted
A live shot of a new Motorola Android powered handset has surfaced, it is dubbed the Motorola Zeppelin. It has a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a 5 Megapixel camera, GPS, and MOTOBLUR.

There is no word on when this new Smartphone will be announced, however we can look forward to seeing it at the upcoming Mobile World Congress.

With the Motorola Droid still being in the limelight, Motorola has unveiled a new smartphone dubbed the Motoroi in Korea recently. This new smartphone runs the Google Android OS and features a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen, an awesome 8 megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording and high-speed GSM connectivity.

According to Rick Wolochatiuk, president and representative director of Motorola Korea, the MOTOROI “will be launched in other markets around the world”; an SK Telecom SVP went on to suggest that the US launch would take place in March 2010. The sad thing is that the model that will be released for Korea will carry a T-DMB digital TV tuner which we may not see in the US version.

Sprint has announced a new member to their 2010 Mobile Phone lineup, the Motorola Brute i680 Clamshell phone that features ultra-rugged durability with the best-in-class push-to-talk services of Nextel Direct Connect. The new Motorola Brute i680 meets Military Specification 810F for dust, shock, vibration, low temperature, high temperature, low pressure, solar radiation, salt fog, humidity and blowing rain.

Other specs includes a 2.2-inch main LCD display with a 176 x 220 pixel resolution, an external 1.3-inch display with a 120 x 160 resolution for call screening, a 2 megapixel camera with flash, an MP3 player, a web browser, email, threaded messaging, GPS, Bluetooth connectivity, 180MB of internal memory and a microSD card slot for expansion on your memory. If you wish to own it will cost $119.99 with a 2-year contract and a Nextel Direct Connect calling plan.

Motorola Shadow Picture Leaked
A member of the Mobile01 forum posted a photo of the Motorola Shadow, the phone features a 4.3-inch large touchscreen display with a 850×484 resolution along with a 8 Megapixel camera and a HDMI port.

According to the tipster, the Shadow supports 1080p HD video recording and is just 9mm thick.
