Other than the unveiling of the nüvifone A50 Android Smartphone, Garmin-Asus also announced the nuvifone M10 Navigation Phone. The M10 is already available in Taiwan, it features a 3.5-inch WVGA touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel with geotagging,, 4GB internal memory, WiFi and support for HSDPA.

It is ready for automotive navigation out-of-the-box and comes with a powered cradle and windshield mount, it offers advanced navigation which are equivalent to a high-end Garmin nuvi such as lane assist with junction view and highway mode. The nuvifone M10 can also be found at the MWC 2010.

Garmin-Asus just released their new nüvifone A50 Android Smartphone. It is a touchscreen Android-powered smartphone with multiple location technologies and apps. It features a 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen display that incorporates a finger-friendly user interface, QWERTY touchscreen keyboard, 4GB internal storage, an expandable microSD card slot.

The A50 integrates Google mobile services with one-click access to Google Search by voice, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, calendar, contacts and Android Market, where users can find more than 20,000 applications to expand and personalize their phone to fit their lifestyle. The Garmin-Asus nüvifone A50 is expected to be available in Europe in the first half of 2010. Specific availability and pricing details will be given in the future.

Garmin-Asus is at it again when they launched the new nuvifone M10 GPS-capable smartphone that runs Windows Mobile 6.5.3 OS. The M10 features a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with a 800×480 pixel resolution, a 5 megapixel camera, a 1500mAh battery and support for memory cards including microSD and SDHC cards.

The M10 sports a Qualcomm MSM 7227 600MHz processor, 512MB RAM and 512MB ROM. Pricing information to come at a later date.

Garmin-Asus Nüvifone M20 now with Windows Mobile 6.5

Garmin-Asus has announced the availability of its Nüvifone M20 Smartphone now running Windows Mobile 6.5. The Nüvifone M20 is now a newly released handset and existing owners of a M20 phones running Windows Mobile 6.1 are also eligible for the free update to Windows Mobile 6.5.

If you don’t quite remember, the Nuvifone M20 features a 2.8-inch Touchscreen display with a 480×640 resolution. There is a 2.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth and WiFi Connectivity plus 4GB of Internal Storage.

Garmin-Asus nuvifone G60 and M20 Launched in Taiwan

Garmin-Asus officially launched its Nuvifone G60 and M20 GPS smartphone on the Taiwan Market. Both smartphones features Garmin’s GPS Navigational Technology, the Nuvifone G60 runs on a Linux Platform and features a 3.55-inch Touchscreen LCD display with a 272×480 pixel resolution, there is also a 3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, WiFi, 4GB of Internal Memory plus a microSD card slot for expansion.

The Nuvifone M20 on the other hand runs a Windows Mobile OS and features a 2.8-inch Touchscreen display with a 480×640 resolution and a 2.3 megapixel camera along with specs like Bluetooth, WiFi and 4GB of Internal Memory.

The Nuvifone G60 supports tri-band UMTS/HSDPA 3.5G and quad-band GSM networks and have a price tag of NT$16,990 (US$516) while the Nuvifone M20 supports dual-band UMTS/HSDPA 3.5 and quad-band GSM networks with a price tag that says NT$17,900 ($523)

Garmin-Asus Nüvifone now available in Asia

Remember sometime last year when the Garmin Nuvifone passes FFC. Well the Garmin-Asus Nüvifone is now available in Asia, the Nuvifone G60 will be available for purchase in as of July 27 in Taiwan and in Singapore and Malaysia by the end of August. The Garmin-Asus Nuvifone M20 will go on sale in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia in August also.

The Nuvifone G60 features a 3.5-inch touchscreen display while the Garmin-Asus Nuvifone features a 2.8-inch touchscreen display. Both phone features a 3 megapixel camera with auto-focus and geo-tagging, the difference between is that the M20 runs the Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional while the G60 runs a linux platform.

Garmin-Asus has decided to launch their first android phone really soon. According to PC World, they have confirmed with the company about their plans of releasing their first android phone in the first quarter of 2010 and a Asustek representative made it even more reassuring when he said that it could come even sooner.

It would really be nice if the company’s first Android Phone came with a personalized version of the Android OS than the same old boring one. Not much information available but keep checking back for more updates..

Garmin Nuvifone passes FFC
Here is Garmin’s first Mobile Phone. The popular makers of GPS navigation devices has gone into the Mobile Phone business. The handset was passed by the FCC, and will be announced soon. The Mobile Phone is named from the Popular Nuvi navigation system and was first mentioned sometime in January.

The Garmin Nuvi features a 3.5″ Touchscreen Display, built-in GPS, Camera with geotagging, HSDPA support and a Web Browser.
