AT&T BlackBerry Curve 8900 Smartphone

AT&T will be launching the BlackBerry Curve 8900 this summer. The Curve 8900 sports a 3.2 megapixel camera, 480×360 LCD screen and as all BlackBerry Smartphone a Qwerty Keyboard.

The BlackBerry Curve 8900 comes with 256MB internal memory plus a microSDHC card slot for memory expansion. The Curve 8900 also supports quad-band EDGE (850/900/1700/ 1800Mhz) networks, GPS, WiFi Connectivity and Bluetooth.

AT&T will sell the BlackBerry Curve 8900 at $149, with a 2-year contract and after a $100 mail-in rebate.

AT&T drops prices of Blackberry Bold, Curve 8900

Both the Blackberry Bold and the Blackberry Curve 8900 are getting a price drop from AT&T. The Blackberry Bold has been on the carrier’s network for a while now and the curve 8900 has just came to become a member on the network but however both are getting a price cut.

The original price of the Bold was $299.99 and after the price cut you can now get it to $199.99, while the 8900 was at $199.99 and now at $149.99.

Research In Motion (RIM) has finally launched their Blackberry App World at the CTIA 2009 show. The new BlackBerry Application Store is presently available to Blackberry smartphone users in Canada, UK and the United States. (What about other countries RIM? Why you dissing?)

Users in these countries can download the BlackBerry App World application to their BlackBerry smartphone by visiting from their handset.

BlackBerry Niagara to Arrive from Sprint in Q1?

Sprint hasn’t gotten any Blackberry Phone recently, they missed out on the Storm and the Bold, however they did launch their iDEN Curve a while ago. If you are a sprint customer and want to own a berry then you may just be in luck since the company will be launching the BlackBerry Niagara in the first quarter of this year.

The BlackBerry Niagara is the CDMA version to the Bold and it features basically the same kinda specs. It has a 480×360 display, full-QWERTY keyboard, a 3.2 megapixel camera, A and aGPS support, WiFi Connectivity and more.
