Acer beTouch E110 approved by the FCC

Acer beTouch E110
The FCC has recently approved a new Smartphone which belongs to Acer, it is the beTouch E110 Smartphone. So far we know that the handset will feature a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display and although an entry-level smartphone there is a social networking capability, Acer web widgets support, a 3.2-megapixel camera, GPS Navigation and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The new Acer beTouch E110 is powered by a 416MHz ST Ericsson PNX6715 processor, a 256MB ROM and 256MB of RAM. The handset is also compatible with AT&T’s 3G network (850 / 1900 MHz) so we can look forward to seeing it real soon here in the United States. In Europe, the Acer beTouch E110 should be available starting March.

Acer Liquid e Android Eclair 2.1 Smartphone
Acer is at the MWC 2010 and they have announced the Liquid e Android Eclair 2.1 Smartphone which is an upgrade to the Acer Liquid. It is a minor upgrade which features a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11b/g, support for HSDPA 7.2Mbps and a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display.

It is powered by a Qualcomm SnapDragon processor running underclocked at 768MHz and is expected to start showing up from different carriers nationwide.

Acer P300 WM and E110 Android Phones
According to detail unvealed at Bluetooth SIG’s website, Acer seems to be coming with two new smartphones. The Acer P300 is Windows Mobile powered and E110 is a Android powered smartphone. Both phone come with support for quad-band GSM/EDGE and WCDMA/HSPA networks.

The Acer P300 features Bluetooth 2.0 and WiFi connectivity while the Acer E110 features supports for GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. So we can expect to see these new Touchscreen handsets out soon.

Acer Liquid A1 Smartphone in Beijing

A few days ago Acer held an “Innovation Future” press conference in Beijing where they build a hype on the Acer Liquid A1 Smartphone and their brand new Android platform for smart phones – Liquid. The Acer features a 1GHz 768MHz Snapdragon processor and runs the more mature Android 1.6 rather than the newer Android 2.0.

The phone features a 3.5-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen, Wi-Fi b/g and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, a 5-megapixel camera, HSDPA Connectivity and GPS Navigation. The Acer Liquid A1 is now up for pre-orders at a price of €379.99, which is approximately $570 US.

Acer Liquid A1 Now Available for Pre-order

Acer Liquid A1 Smartphone
Fans of the Acer Liquid A1 Smartphone can now go ahead and make their purchase, as the A1 Liquid is now up for pre-orders. Online retailer, Expanses recently listed the Acer Liquid A1 in white for pre-orders at a price of €379.99, which is approximately $570 US.

The Phone will start shipping on November 28th and it comes with no contracts whatsoever. The Acer Liquid A1 runs the Google Android OS and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

Acer F1 Smartphone Finally coming?

Do you remember the Acer F1 Smartphone which we first introduced here back in June? Well Acer has announced that the smartphone will go on sale in the UK on the 6th of October.

The details released by Acer, confirmed that the new Smartphone will feature a Qualcomm 8250 1GHz processor as stated in our previous post and also features a 3.8 inch WVGA touchscreen display with a 480 x 800 resolution, a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and built-in LED flash, built-in WiFi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.1, a 3.5mm audio jack, 512MB ROM, 256MB RAM, and a microSD card slot that can support up to 32GB cards.

The Acer F1 will be retailed for a price ranging from around £300 to about $500.

Acer has been showcasing the Acer F1 Smartphone at Computex 2009. The new Acer F1 is powered by an 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU and has a 3.8-inch TFT touchscreen display with 480 x 800 resolution.

The Acer F1 Smartphone features a 5 megapixel camera phone that has autofocus and LED flash, plus other kick ass specs such as an FM radio, a 3.5mm headset jack, GPS, WiFi, a 7.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity, and Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional OS. There isn’t much on the handset just yet but we know that it should be out by September.
