Sprint recently announced the availability of the LG Lotus Elite Clamshell Mobile Phone to its customers. The Lotus Elite features a 3.42-inch full resistive touchscreen display in a clamshell form casing and a second 2.4-inch touchscreen display when clamshell is closed. It has a full qwerty keyboard, a 2.0 megapixel camera with video recording, a music player, GPS navigation, Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR, Web Browser, Email Client, support for Transflash and microSD cards, USB port, support for 3G,EVDO,1xEVDO networks and a 1000 mAh battery that offers 5.9 hours of talktime.

Android 2.0 is coming to Sprint’s Hero & Moment

Sprint, today announced that its HTC Hero and Samsung Moment Smartphones will be updated to Android 2.0 in the first half of 2010 via its official Twitter Account. If you should take to a lot of customers who own either of these phones will tell you that this is way overdue. As for the Hero, HTC isn’t yet done prepping Sense for 2.0 so they’re probably in a holding pattern there, however the Moment that is running android 1.5 deserves the update to 2.0.

Sprint has gotten their version of the well anticipated HTC Hero android-powered smartphone. The Sprint Version really looks different from the regular one as it has more of a oval shape than the rectangular shape the regular one has.

The Sprint HTC Hero supports CDMA EVDO Rev.A 3G network unlike the regular HTC Hero which supports GSM/WCDMA Networks. It features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with a 5 megapixel camera, integrated GPS receiver, trackball navigation, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a microSD card slot just like the GSM Version.
