Amazon Pre-Orders the Samsung Epic 4G from Sprint

Apart for the T-Mobile Vibrant and the AT&T Captivate, Amazon has also added Sprint’s Version of the Galaxy S Smartphone to its online store. The Sprint Samsung Epic 4G is priced at $199.99 with a new service plan, the handset is scheduled for the August 31st release date, however Amazon offers pre-ordering now.

Sprint will be offering the handset at a price $50 more than that of Amazons, $249.99. So don’t worry about pre-ordering with Sprint anymore, get it from Amazon for $50 less. If you order now, Amazon will ship the handset to you on August 31st. If you wait till after the launch the price may go down a few months after the launch too, just some budgeting advice.

Sprint’s version of the Galaxy S Smartphone known as the Epic 4G Smartphone will be available from the carrier starting August 31st, although it was reported previous that it would be coming on August 11th, if you wish to avoid the rush you can go ahead and pre-order yours starting today August 13th. The Epic 4G will be available for $249.99 with a new 2yr- service agreement after $100 mail-in rebate.

Starting today, you can log onto Sprint’s Epic 4G site, to reserve your device. Customers who reserve Samsung Epic 4G will be able to complete their purchase beginning Tuesday, Aug. 31, and must complete their purchase no later than 6 p.m. local time on Wednesday, Sept. 1.

There is a rumor in the mill, that Sprint is about to launch its version of the Samsung Galaxy S, the Epic 4G Smartphone to its subscribers starting on August 11th, 2010, According to BGR. Sprint Customers will certainly enjoy the 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display, 5 Megapixel Camera with Autofocus plus 720p HD recording, 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor and full QWERTY slide-out keyboard that the device has to offer.

Rumor has it that Sprint Stores will be opened as early as 8am on the launched date, I guess so they can accommodate the rush, if there is any.

If you are a fan of the new HTC Evo 4G that is presently available on Sprint’s Network, then you can get one from Best Buy and its the White Version too. The White version is very identical to the Black Version, the only differences is that it has a white back cover. It carries the same 4.3-inch touchscreen display, a 8-Megapixel camera with dual flash, HDMI Output and 3G/4G WiMAX support.

As we should all know by now, the HTC EVO 4G can be used to create mobile hotspot and share the Sprint 3G or 4G connection to up to 8 WiFi devices.

After its recent appearance at the Google I/O where google gave away to everyone who attended, we knew it would start popping up all over the place soon, and the first sight of the device can be seen in a Sprint Store. The HTC EVO 4G Smartphone is now available via Sprint with a price tag that says $199.99 plus a 2-year service agreement after a $100 mail-in rebate.

The new HTC Evo is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm SnapDragon CPU, it has a 4.3-inch Touchscreen Display, a 8-Megapixel Camera and a 1.3-megapixel Camera on the front for video calls.

Sprint BlackBerry Bold 9650 now Available
Sprint has announced the availability of the BlackBerry Bold 9650 Smartphone to its subscribers which voids it previous announcement of the smartphone coming on May 23rd. It is presently being offered for $199 with a 2-year contract agreement and after a $100 mail-in-rebate. The Bold 9650 comes with a 2.24-inch LCD display with a 480×360 resolution, a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash and autofocus, image stabilization and video recording, as usual there is a full QWERTY keyboard, there is built-in GPS navigation, Bluetooth, and WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity.

Sprint Samsung Moment and HTC Hero to get Android 2.1 update soon

Sprint Samsung Moment and HTC HeroSprint has announced that the Samsung Moment and the HTC Hero that they offer to subscribers will be getting an OS update to the highly anticipated Android 2.1 OS sometime in Q2 of this year.

These two android-powered smartphones have been here for a few months now, even though they have aged a bit, Sprint has not turned their back on the owners. The Samsung Seek M350 for Sprint supports 1X CDMA networks and will be available for a price of $30 and a two-year contract with $50 mail-in rebate.
