AT&T Dell Aero coming August 9th

The Android-Powered Smartphone was first announced in march and finally AT&T has announced that the Dell Aero Smartphone will be available to subscribers starting on August 9th, 2010. The Dell Aero will be sold for $99 with a 2-year contract agreement. Just as a reminder, the handset will be powered by a 624MHz processor and runs the Android 1.5 OS.

Other specifications of the Dell Aero includes a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, 5 Megapixel camera with Auto Focus and LED Flash, GPS, 3G and WiFi Connectivity. The handset also supports microSD card slot up to 32GB.

AT&T Samsung Captivate Galaxy S Smartphone


AT&T is launching its version of the Galaxy S Smartphone and renaming it to the AT&T Samsung Captivate. Like the regular Galaxy S, it features a 4-inch Super AMOLED Touchscreen display, a 5 Megapixel Camera, 3D graphics engine and 16GB of Internal Storage.

It is also powered by 1GHz Processor, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi 802.11n connectivity and quad-band GSM, tri-band HSPA 7.2Mbps network. AT&T has also added its AT&T Navigator which offers voice-guided and visual turn-by-turn GPS driving directions. There is also Samsung’s Social Hub which integrates social networking sites to the handset, expect to see the AT&T Samsung Captivate in the next few months.

AT&T get the new HTC Aria Android Smartphone


AT&T has also announced that they will be getting the new HTC Android Phone dubbed the Aria. This new Smartphone features a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display, a 5 Megapixel Camera with video recording capability, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi and a FM Radio.

The HTC Aria is powered by a Qualcomm MSM7227 600MHz Processor, 512MB ROM, 384MB RAM and runs the Android 2.1 Eclair OS with HTC Sense UI. The Handset also The compact smartphone also packs a digital compass, G-sensor, proximity sensor and light sensor. AT&T will have the HTC Aria starting June 20th for $129.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a 2 year contract.

AT&T Pantech Pursuit Now Available


AT&T has announced the arrival of the new Pantech Pursuit Smartphone to their product lineup. The new Pantech Smartphone features a 2.8-inch touchscreen display with a 320×240 resolution, there is a 2 Megapixel camera with video recording, it has a QWERTY keyboard and offers support for Bluetooth 2.0. The handset operates on dual-band UMTS/HSDPA and quad-band GSM/EDGE networks and also supports microSD cards to expand the storage capacity. AT&T has finally announced the Palm Pixi Plus on their network. The AT&T version is not like the Verizon Version as it supports WCDMA UMTS/HSDPA 3G and quad-band GSM networks. Other than that it comes with the same specs which includes a a 2.63-inch 320×400 capacitive touchscreen, 8GB internal storage, a 2 Megapixel camera with flash and video recording, Bluetooth 2.1, aGPS support and microUSB connector.

The AT&T Version of the Palm Pixi Plus also comes pre-loaded with AT&T Navigator, YPMobile, AT&T Address Book and AT&T Wi-FI Hot Spots application. It is priced at $49.99 after $100 online discount and a 2-year contract or get it with a new service plan for just $0.01 on Amazon.

AT&T LG Vu Plus QWERTY Phone with AT&T Mobile TV


LG has announced the LG POP for some countries in Asia and they have launched the LG Vu Plus on the AT&T Network for the United States. The Vu Plus comes with a 3-inch touchscreen display, a full QWERTY Keypad, a 3-Megapixel Autofocus Camera which has video recording and support for 7.2Mbps HSDPA network and AT&T’s FLO-based Mobile TV service.

The FLO-based Mobile TV service will cost subscribers an additional $9.99 per month and will allow users to watch full-length broadcast shows. There is also Social Net services which allows connectivity to social sites such as Facebook and Twitter plus GPS Navigation via AT&T’s Navigator. The LG Vu Plus will be going for $149.99 after a mail-in rebate receive $50 AT&T Promotion Card and a two year service contract.
