T-Mobile USA is about to launch the new Nokia 5230 Nuron to its consumer. The device was first introduced by Nokia back in August will be available to middle America “in the coming weeks” on T-Mobile’s 3G network. It features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with a 640 x 360 pixel resolution which makes the recently released Nokia C5 looks like a toy, an onscreen keyboard, Ovi Store apps and free Ovi Maps with turn-by-turn navigation.

The Nuron comes sporting the 5th version of the S60 OS and with the improved Symbian ^3 touchscreen UI coming soon, there could be a upgrade for the handset. It should be available by March 17th for $70 on contract, or $180 without.

InfoSonics Verykool i270 Touch launched in Latin America
InfoSonics, a company that distributes phones mainly in Latin America, has announced the availability of its new Verykool i270 Touch, it is a touchscreen handset that features a 2.4 inch QVGA touchscreen display and operates on quad-band GSM/GPRS networks.

Other specifications of the new touch phone includes a 2 megapixel camera which can be turned into a Webcam if you connect the phone to a PC via USB, pretty cool huh. There is also a 3.5mm headset jack, Bluetooth, Web browser, email, MP3 player, speakerphone and MicroSD card support. There is no pricing information available as yet.

MetroPCS has announced the availability of Samsung’s new touchscreen smartphone, the Samsung Calibur R860 at its retail locations. The Samsung Calibur R860 comes equipped with a 3.2-inch WQVGA touchscreen display backed by Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, a 3 megapixel camera with LED flash, support for MicroSD cards up to 16GB, a full HTML web browser, GPS with MetroNavigator, email, social networking integration (Facebook, MySpace) and Bluetooth connectivity.

The 3.0 megapixel camera and camcorder is perfect for capturing images, while the stereo Bluetooth wireless technology and a speakerphone make hands-free communication effortless. The Samsung Calibur is now available at MetroPCS for $250 with no contract.

Motorola recently announced its QUENCH Android-Powered Smartphone with MotoBlur which is also known as the Motorola CLIQ XT. The Quench comes boasting a high-resolution 3.1-inch touchscreen display along with specs such as dual microphones and noise cancellation technology for clear calls, a 5.0 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, Adobe Flash Lite as well as great navigational features such as pinch and zoom and a touch pad.

The QUENCH will be called the CLIQ XT and be available next month exclusively through T-Mobile USA. There are also integrated links to social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and Gmail. There is voice-activated search, stereo Bluetooth, aGPS, 3G and WiFi connectivity. QUENCH with MOTOBLUR will be available in multiple regions around the globe beginning in Q1 2010. In the U.S., the device will be called CLIQ XT with MOTOBLUR and will be available exclusively through T-Mobile USA beginning next month.

AT&T to get Motorola BackFlip
Motorola has officially announced that its new BackFlip will be heading to AT&T on March 7th. As one of the Motorola’s Android phone, the Backlip includes the MOTOBLUR platform that helps consumers keep a pulse on what’s happening on their social and news networks.

The handset will be sold for $99.99 with a 2-year contract agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate. As a reminder, the BackFlip offers a 3.1-inch HVGA touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, a full QWERTY keyboard, MotoBlur with social networking integration (Facebook, MySpace, Twitter), GPS, WiFi, a 3.5mm headset jack, a 1,500 mAh battery, Android 1.5 OS and supports HSDPA connectivity.

T-Mobile has launched an updated version of the myTouch 3G (aka HTC Magic) Android smartphone that now comes with 3.5mm headphone jack. Just like the original version, the new model features a 3.2-inch touchscreen, 3.2 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity.

This one now comes with 288MB of RAM (up from 192MB), additional Swype input method, Google Search by voice app, Google Maps Street View app. T-Mobile myTouch 3G with 3.5mm jack is available for $149.99 with a new 2-year contract.
