Along with its Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, Google announced the new Nexus 5 Smartphone which comes equipped with a 4.95-inch 1080p HD display protected by Gorilla Glass. The unveiling of the new Google Smartphone puts an end to all the rumors and speculations in circulation regarding the device.
The new fifth-generation Android smartphone sold by Google packs the power of a 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM, it comes in a 16GB and 32GB version and features a similar design to the LG G2 Smartphone. The Nexus 5 also has an 8-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, LED flash, and a 1.3-megapixel front camera.
With a revamped and new-age look than any of its predecessor, it has no physical buttons other than the power and volume controls. It’s made of ceramic material and also has a matte finish to complete the elegant look. Owners of the Nexus 5 Smartphones will also be the first to get first hand experience of the new Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.. Google has already started selling the Nexus 5 on Google Play, it cost $350 for 16GB and $399 for 32GB.
