The company might be on the brink of being sold to the highest bidder, but for right now its business as usual. BlackBerry just announced its new Z30 Smartphone that comes with a 5-inch, it happens to be the first BlackBerry 10 device with a 5-inch display.
The BlackBerry Z30 is the company’s second attempt at a BlackBerry 10 all-touchscreen device following the Z10 released earlier this year. The Z30 comes equipped with a 5-inch 720p Super AMOLED screen, its powered by a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor with quad-core graphics, 2GB of RAM, and a 2,880 mAh battery. These specifications will make the Z30 the fastest and longest-lasting BlackBerry 10 handset to date.
The Z30 will be the first to be shipped with BlackBerry OS 10.2, other specifications of the Z30 includes 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot for expansion, there’s an 8-megapixel camera on the rear, a 2-megapixel front camera, Bluetooth 4.0, dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n 2.4/5 GHz, and 4G LTE connectivity. The Z30 will began selling in UK and Middle East carriers starting as early as next week.
