Samsung has announced a new Smartphone that is actually larger than its Galaxy Note Series, the new Smartphone comes equipped with a large 6.3-inch touchscreen display and dubbed the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3.
According to Samsung, the Mega 6.3 is “the ideal hybrid mobile device for those who want to experience smartphone portability with the immersive experience of a tablet.”
Details of the Mega 6.3 Phablet includes 6.3-inch Super Clear LCD (1280 x 720 resolution), an 8.0 megapixel camera with LED flash, a front-facing 1.9 megapixel video cam, aGPS, WiFi, LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, infrared, 8GB or 16GB of internal storage, microSD card expansion and a 3200 mAh battery. Muscle is provided by a 1.7GHz dual-core CPU, paired with 1.5GB of RAM.
The large device runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and features a whole slew of Samsung’s proprietary applications including includes Air View, Multi Window, Watch On, Easy Mode, and various custom camera apps, along with the company’s enterprise security solutions. The Mega 6.3 Smartphone will debut on the US market for little over $500 before taxes and subsidies on AT&T, Sprint and US Cellular.
