Nokia has unveiled a new Windows Phone device from its Lumia Series, which goes by the name Lumia 925 which should be the successor to its successful Lumia 920. The Lumia 925 comes with a revamped PureView camera and a touch of metal, looks like it will soon become the best Windows Phone yet.
It is said to be the first Lumia Smartphone to feature a metal frame with a polycarbonate back available in black, gray or white. It comes equipped with a 4.5-inch AMOLED display with a WXGA 1280×768 resolution, it is protected by Gorilla Glass 2, and it comes with a greater sensitivity that makes it compatible with gloves, plus Nokia also enhanced the screen for a better color display visibility in sunlight.
Other specifications of the LUMIA 925 is that its powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, it gets 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, it supports Qi wireless charging and has a 2000mAh battery. The Lumia 925 has an 8.7-megapixel camera with dual LED flash. The camera features OIS to better stabilize images and reduce blur and processing software designed to improve images.
Pricing and availability will vary throughout different markets, however, Nokia plans to sell the Lumia 925 in the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain and China in June. It will be made available on the T-Mobile network in US right after its Europe launch.
