
Huawei’s new midrange smartphone that was recently revealed at the CES 2013, the Ascend W1 has gotten approval to enter the US market. According to reports, the Ascend W1 Windows Phone 8 handset is also about to be released in the UK and will enter the US market via prepaid carrier Net10.
As a reminder, the Ascend W1 is equipped with a 4-inch IPS display that delivers a 480×800 pixel resolution, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 1.2GHz dual core processor plus it also comes with a Adreno 305 Graphics processor.
There’s a 5-megapixel camera with auto focus and LED flash, plus a front-facing camera for video calling. There are no details as to when Net10 will start offering the handset but we will keep you updated.
