Its time to start on that New Year’s Resolution by dropping those extra pounds, and the latest version of the RunKeeper App for the iPhone will definitely help with that. Version 3.0 of the RunKeeper iPhone app has been released with an all new user interface, and the changes go beyond just a fresh coat of paint.
There are a few changes to the Fitness app, first on the list is the background change, they traded the the dark backgrounds and bold text for a white background with lighter colors and a gradient navigation bar. The new UI was made simplified for an easier read and to switch between features for tracking activity, viewing leaderboards, and starting or stopping a run.
RunKeeper iPhone app also adds some new enhanced feature such as integrating social media sites like the ability to post work-out photos to Facebook and Twitter. The app has also incorporated live tracking so RunKeeper Elite users can have friends and family monitor their progress and send words of encouragement.
