General Mobile Touch Stone Smartphone
General Mobile is planning to launch another Android Phone after the DSTL1 and the Cosmos. This is the company’s third android phone called the Touch Stone.

The new phone is powered by an ARM9-based PXA935 processor and features a large 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen, 5 Megapixel camera,and even optional integrated analog TV tuner. Expect to see it out soon from some major carriers.

NTT docomo recently launched the P-02B by Panasonic, a slider mobile phone that comes in Pink, White, Green and Black. It main features are its 3.1-inch VIERA LCD display that offers a 480×854 pixel resolution, a 8 Megapixel camera with video recording and flash, GPS, Mobile Tv, Bluetooth and suppor for HSDPA 7.2Mbps network.

It also gets a 0.33 Megapixel front camera for video calling and a ergonimic design that fits your face and a wheel controller for easy navigation. The slider phone also supports microSDHC cards, no pricing information announced just yet.

LG GW620 launched in Italy as LG LinkMe

LG GW620 launched in Italy as LG LinkMe
The LG GW620 which is popularly known as the LG InTouch Max has been launched in Italy under a new name. The name of the InTouch Max in that region is the LG LinkMe. The LG GW620 has been available in the UK via T-Mobile and Virgin Media since last month for free with a contract.

The LGW620/LinkMe is LG’s first Android smartphone and comes with a 3 inch HVGA resistive touchscreen display, as well as a full 5-row QWERTY keyboard. It also features HSPA, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, full HTML browser, access to Android Market, and LinkBook which gives the user easy access to social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. There is a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, runs the Android 1.5 OS and comes with a 1GB memory card in the box.

If you are living in that region and wish to own one, it will cost you approximately 299 euros which is about $405 in the United States.

InfoSonics Verykool i270 Touch launched in Latin America
InfoSonics, a company that distributes phones mainly in Latin America, has announced the availability of its new Verykool i270 Touch, it is a touchscreen handset that features a 2.4 inch QVGA touchscreen display and operates on quad-band GSM/GPRS networks.

Other specifications of the new touch phone includes a 2 megapixel camera which can be turned into a Webcam if you connect the phone to a PC via USB, pretty cool huh. There is also a 3.5mm headset jack, Bluetooth, Web browser, email, MP3 player, speakerphone and MicroSD card support. There is no pricing information available as yet.

Acer beTouch E110 approved by the FCC

Acer beTouch E110
The FCC has recently approved a new Smartphone which belongs to Acer, it is the beTouch E110 Smartphone. So far we know that the handset will feature a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display and although an entry-level smartphone there is a social networking capability, Acer web widgets support, a 3.2-megapixel camera, GPS Navigation and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The new Acer beTouch E110 is powered by a 416MHz ST Ericsson PNX6715 processor, a 256MB ROM and 256MB of RAM. The handset is also compatible with AT&T’s 3G network (850 / 1900 MHz) so we can look forward to seeing it real soon here in the United States. In Europe, the Acer beTouch E110 should be available starting March.

The Samsung Calibur R860 comes equipped with a 3.2-inch WQVGA touchscreen display backed by Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, a 3 megapixel camera with LED flash, support for MicroSD cards up to 16GB, a full HTML web browser, GPS with MetroNavigator, email, social networking integration (Facebook, MySpace) and Bluetooth connectivity.

The 3.0 megapixel camera and camcorder is perfect for capturing images, while the stereo Bluetooth wireless technology and a speakerphone make hands-free communication effortless. The Samsung Calibur is now available at MetroPCS for $250 with no contract.

Nokia unveiled in Poland a special version of the N97 mini, the Gold Edition. This handset gets a 18-carat gold housing which clearly makes it a very expensive luxury phone. The Gold Edition will be available in Q2 in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Like the original N97 mini, the Gold version also gets the same 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a 5 Megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash, QWERTY keyboard, and 8GB internal memory. It supports Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity as well.
