Kyocera Laylo And Domino
Kyocera announced that two of its mobile phones will be available through MetroPCs. First the Kyocera Laylo is a slider form phone which has a 2.2-inch high-resolution LCD display, a 1.3-megapixel camera, and a hidden vanity mirror while the Kyocera Domino features a candy-bar phone that shares the same platform as the Laylo.

Both handsets has the ability to run BREW-based apps, support WAP 2.0 browser, Bluetooth 2.0 and also comes bundled with MetroPCs features such as news, sports, email access, instant messaging, and contact management. The Kyocera Laylo is priced at $100 before rebate, while the Domino retails for $70 before rebate.

TransTechnology, a Japanese-based company recently launched the Transgear TGP-701MG Digital Frame. The main feature of this digital photo frame is it’s ability to get online by connecting to your cellphone. it has a 7-inch LCD display and connects to your phone via USB.

It features the MagicSync technology which automatically queries the server for any new images, audio or video files to download. The TGP-701MG Digital Frame supports also MP3, WMA audio and Motion JPEG video playback up to 640×480 resolution at 30fps. It comes with 1GB of internal memory with support for SD/SDHC and MS/MSPro memory cards, with a price of 11,980 Yen.

Motorola Milestone Launched in Hong Kong

Motorola Milestone Launched in Hong Kong
After the European Launch, Motorola is unveiling the Motorola Milestone (known as the Motorola Droid in the US) in Hong Kong, the first in Asia region to get the Android 2.0 device. The version Motorola sells in Hong Kong is English version with MOTO Chinese input methods (but no Chinese UI), including Chinese handwriting recognition and Pinyin.

Motorola stated that a Chinese version with native Chinese UI and more Chinese input methods will be released in Hong Kong Later. The Chinese version may be released with Android 2.1 OS, and current devices will receive updates. The Milestone will be sold for a price of HK$4680 unlocked, thats approximately US$602.

Samsung Lindy M5650 Music Phone
Samsung unveiled a new touchscreen handset which is a dedicated music phone. It is the Samsung Lindy 35650 which features a 2.8-inch full touchscreen display along with specs such as a 3 megapixel camera, an FM Radio, MP3 Player, Bluetooth and USB 2.0 Connectivity. The screen also supports One Finger Zooming and has a colorful cartoon UI.

The Samsung Lindy also comes with enhanced social networking features, allowing quick access to Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and ability to easily upload photos and videos. It only comes with 50MB of internal memory and a microSD slot for expansion on the stingy amount of storage. The Samsung Lindy will be available in Portugal for €159 and will soon be launched in other European countries, then rest of the world.

Three of Motorola’s Handsets are on their way to three of China’s most prominent carriers, China Mobile, China Telecom and ChinaUnicom. The three new handsets are the XT701, MT710, and XT800 Android Smartphones.

Starting on the left, the XT701 will be going towards China Unicom customers, in the middle there is the Motorola MT710 which is an OPhone for China Mobile and the Motorola XT800 on the right looks like a Dell Mini 3i done right to us, it sports a 3.7-inch WVGA, a 5 megapixel camera and will be available through China Telecom.
