LG has announced a new handset to the Korean Market, it is the LG KU4000 Clamshell Phone for Business. This business-oriented mobile phone features a business-oriented plus an external LED display to monitor incoming calls, a 2 megapixel camera, DMB TV tuner and supports global roaming.

US Cellular launches the Samsung U440 Clamshell Designed Phone to their customers. The Samsung U440 which is also known as the Samsung Cleo in Canada and known as the Samsung Gloss in the US, the phone features a 2.2-inch color internal display, an external display for call screening, a full qwerty keyboard, a 1.3 megapixel camera, built-in media player and Stereo Bluetooth.

The Gloss U440 also has GPS functions and is available at US Cellular with US Cellular’s unlimited easyedge access plan. Available for $29.95 with a 2-year contract and comes in only Pink and Grey.

The unlocked version of the HTC Touch Pro 2 is now available in the United States. If you have never heard of it before it feature a full sliding QWERTY keyboard, 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus, WiFi and Bluetooth Connectivity, microSD (HC) card slot, FM Radio with RDS, an advanced speaker phone called “HTC Straight Talk” which is for use with conference calls.

The HTC Touch Pro 2 is powered by a 528Mhz Qualcomm Processor.

AT&T will be announcing a new smartphone from Hewlett-Packard very soon, the new smartphone is the iPAQ K3 which is also know as the Obsidian.

The new smartphone is scheduled for release on November 30th, 2009. The smartphone features a 2.8-inch QVGA display, a full QWERTY keyboard, a 2 megapixel camera, microSD card slot, 256MB of RAM, a 512MB ROM, GPS functions and Wifi Connectivity.

The iPAQ K3 will run the Windows Mobile 6.5 OS and support triband HSDPA as well as quadband EDGE networks.

Nokia has announced two new entry level handsets which are the Nokia 2720 fold and the Nokia 2730. The Nokia 2720 fold is a clamshell design phone as the name says which features a 1.8-inch display and a 1.3 megapixel camera.

The Nokia 2730 is a candy-bar style that has a 2-inch LCD screen and a 2 megapixel camera. Both handset features built-in FM tuner, media player and Bluetooth connectivity. Both the 2720 fold and 2730 classic will be released in Q3 for Euro 55 and Euro 80 respectively.

Samsung announced the GT-I6320C 3G Slider Phone for China Mobile, which is said to be the world’s largest mobile carrier. The Samsung GT-I6320C comes with a 240×320 LCD display, a 3 Megapixel camera, bluetooth connectivity, support China’s 3G network, TD-HSDPA and TD-SCDMA.

There is also an integrated media player and a microSD card slot, CMMB TV and supports China’s mobile digital broadcasting standard.
