Motorola is preparing to launch a new slider phone called the W7. The Motorola W7 comes with an unusual ordered function keys. The new Motorola Slider will feature a QVGA display, an elongated D-pad, a 2 megpixel camera and a really poor choice of colors.

There is no word on availablity or pricing just yet but we will keep you updated in case there are any changes that come up.

Samsung i7500 announced – First Android Phone from Samsung

Samsung has decided to launch its first Android Powered mobile phone. The Samsung Android Smartphone features a 3.2-inch HVGA capacitive OLED touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, HSDPA support, 8GB of internal memory and runs on a Qualcomm 528MHz processor.

The Samsung I7500 is running the latest Anroid OS 1.5, which has virtual QWERTY keyboard for text input. Below you will find the first official video of the Samsung Android phone and a full spec list.

Bluetooth version 3.0 High Speed Coming Soon

Bluetooth SIG today announced the release of its next generation of Bluetooth Connectivity. The version is called Version 3.0 High Speed and gets it speed from the 802.11 radio protocol.

The inclusion of the 802.11 radio protocol will see the Bluetooth Transfer Rate being raised to approximately 24 Mbps. The version of Bluetooth is built to carry across the same quality as the current 2.1 EDR version. With the new version you can transfer large data files of videos, music and photos between their own devices and the trusted devices of others, without the need for cables and wires. Expect to see this new technology on the market in the next 9 to 12 months.

The Samsung S30 is now available at Sprint Outlets for a $450 price, however you will get a way lower price of $130 if you take it with a two-year agreement and $100 mail-in rebate.

The new Samsung Handset features a touchscreen display, a 2.0 megapixel camera , GPS Functions and Wireless Internet. There is also multimedia support that includes a MP3 and video player plus a microSD card slot which has the capability of supporting up to 16GB cards.

World’s first waterproof solar cellphone

KDDI and Sharp has set out to make a mobile phone that would be one of a kind. There have announced a Mobile Phone that is Waterproof and also a solar powered phone.

The phone utilizes solar power via its solar panel on the lid of the phone, with only 10 minutes under the sun, the handset will get up to 1 minute of talk time and up to 2 hours of standby time.

This will debut in June by the company as the world’s first waterproof solar powered mobile phone.

The Sciphone Dream G2 Plus features a 2.8-inch touchscreen QVGA screen display with a 320×240 resolution, supports music and video playback, PDA functionality, EDGE, GPRS and WAP. All that is powered by the Android OS developed by Google, and will only cost you the consumers $185 to own.
